About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Development Support Engineer to play a key role in the successful operation of our dynamic gaming environment and platform.

The Gaming Systems department is responsible for the development of our Company's gaming related products, encompassing Games, Casino, Bingo, Poker, and Slots, including all iOS and Android variants.

As a Development Support Engineer, you will work alongside gaming developers, software testers, and other teams within software development to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of our global-scale systems.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the seamless operation of our development and production environments, on-premises and in the cloud.

The role is instrumental in providing timely and effective incident triage, platform operations, proactive maintenance, performance analysis, and capacity management.

Furthermore, you will enhance observability, support third-party integrations, and ensure our development and automated testing pipelines run smoothly.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve critical incidents.
  • Perform system performance analysis, capacity planning, and monitoring checks.
  • Support release management activities.
  • Provision new platforms and create automated workflows.
  • Coordinate system changes and operations, including OS patching and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot server-related issues or hardware faults.
  • Organize firewall and content delivery network changes and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Handle development environmental issues.
  • Identify technical and process areas for continual improvement, fostering modern engineering practices.
  • Communicate change activities and conduct post-live system checks.
