Job Title: Clinical Coordinator for COVID-19 Vaccination Delivery

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator for COVID-19 Vaccination Delivery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of a safe immunisation service, influencing and facilitating change within the setting and service areas.
  • Provide supervision of clinical assessment prior to vaccination, supporting reviews of complex medical histories and potential adverse reactions.
  • Supervise the configuration of vaccination settings, including mobile units, pop-up sites, care homes, and patients' own homes across the geographical footprint of the service.
  • Undertake a clinical supervisory role, overseeing immunisers and administrators delivering a safe immunisation service.
Person Specification
  • Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience working at a similar level in a specialist area supplemented by specialist clinical, managerial training to postgraduate level.
  • Current immunisation training/update or willingness to undertake.
  • Further training or experience in a clinical supervisory position.
  • Previous experience in immunisation and vaccination.
  • Recent experience in clinical supervision.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
