Fire and Security Engineer Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a leading Fire & Security specialist working across central London and the surrounding region.

The role will involve working as part of a team servicing and maintaining a range of fire and security systems at commercial sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair multiple system types, including Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and DDA systems, in accordance with current standards and Codes of Practice.
  • Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating potential risks to project delivery dates.
  • Undertake relevant training as required.
  • Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with.
Requirements:
  • A proven background and experience of Intruder, CCTV, Fire Alarms, Access Control, Door Entry, and DDA systems.
  • Network/IP based product experience is beneficial.
  • FIA qualifications are beneficial but not essential, with a full understanding of BS5839 being essential.
  • Good communication skills are required, with the majority of the role involving customer-facing work.
  • The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
  • A good understanding of the Standards which relate to our Industry and the systems we install.
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety is essential.
  • A full driving licence and a willingness to travel to locations across the country.
