About the Opportunity

Cityscape Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established London-based building contractor, specialising in build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects. This reputable company has formed a specialist cladding division, working in partnership with various housing associations on government-funded re-cladding schemes. With a strong presence in the market, they are currently thriving in the re-cladding sector, rectifying housing developments in and around the city with non-combustible / firesafe insulations and cladding systems.

Your Role

As an Estimator for our client's Pre-construction Team, you will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client. You will assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies, performing risk and value management, and cost control. Additionally, you will advise on procurement strategy, identify and analyse commercial risks, and prepare and analyse costings for tenders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have worked for a rival facade subcontractor in the UK, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. You must also have façade experience, including Curtain Walling, Light-Weight Steel Framing Systems, Render, Brick Slips & External Wall Insulation Systems, and Cladding. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work to programmes and deadlines, be flexible to adapt to change, and have a keen eye for quality.

What We Offer

Salary will be agreed with each individual on a case-by-case basis, depending on previous experience. As a rough guideline, we are targeting individuals whose annual salary is within £45K to £65K. All reasonable travel expenses will be included, and you will receive a company works package.
