The Opportunity

Avantor is seeking a skilled Laboratory Administrator to join our team in Macclesfield. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support to our laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage GRS inbox, reference standards, and archiving support
  • Manage workload and service levels to ensure seamless laboratory operations
  • Complete vital documentation and support laboratory operations
  • Act as a point of contact for customers, engaging with them to understand their business requirements
  • Maintain records for equipment servicing and routine preparation according to GMP regulations
  • Assist with reference standard management and archiving as required
Requirements
  • Experience in laboratory work and awareness of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
  • Customer service experience is preferable
  • Ability to work independently with full hands-on support from the manager when needed
