Production Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team at Brickworks Masonry manufacturing plant in Queensland.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of factory and yard staff in manufacturing operations, ensuring the factory reaches volume, quality, and cost/efficiency goals without compromising on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with WH&S company and industry standards.
  • Supervise and lead a team of factory and yard staff.
  • Operate block machines and complete quality control requirements to ensure compliance of product.
  • Order materials and ensure adequate materials are available for production.
  • Fault find issues and liaise with maintenance staff.
  • Understand the operation of all plant and machinery in the manufacturing facility.
  • Production based paperwork as required.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with the daily running of the production facility.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in a relevant discipline desirable, with trade qualification considered an advantage.
  • Experience in a similar role, supervising manufacturing operations and related processes.
  • Operating Columbia manufacturing machines preferred but not essential.
  • Valid LF Forklift Licence and Front End Loader Ticket.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to lead and engage team members, fostering a positive and productive workplace.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to solve problems in a timely manner.
