**Job Title:** Bulk Processing Manager


**Job Summary:** Lusona LLP seeks a highly skilled and experienced Bulk Processing Manager to lead our client's team in Ayrshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational efficiency, ensure product quality, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.


**Key Responsibilities:**


Operational Leadership

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mixing room, ensuring timely and accurate production. Ensure that production processes are optimized for efficiency and quality.


Quality Assurance

Conduct quality checks on mixtures to meet stringent standards and maintain consistency. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Inventory Management

Manage raw material inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient utilization. Develop and implement inventory management systems to reduce waste and minimize costs.


Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of mixing room operators, providing guidance and support. Develop and implement training programs to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.


Process Improvement

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Identify areas for improvement and develop and implement plans to address them.


Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to GMP, H&S standards, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Data Management

Maintain accurate records, including production reports and batch records. Develop and implement data management systems to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and accessible.


Project Support

Support the scale-up of new product formulations and the development of new processes and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


**Requirements:**



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 4 years of managerial experience within an industrial process environment
  • Experience working in a GMP-driven business
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of chemical properties, compositions, processes, and transformations
  • Experience with SAP B1 and Microsoft Office Suite
