Norse Catering is a leading provider of culinary services to educational institutions. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Team Manager to join our team at Gresham Village School.

Salary: £24,376.56 pro rata per annum

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, with a strong understanding of food industry costs and working within a set budget.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who can manage the kitchen team, prepare, cook and serve lunches for young people and school staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive dining experience for all.

Our central team will support you in managing food safety, health and safety and food allergens whilst our dedicated menu, promotions and compliance teams will provide you with menu cycles, special diet menus and promotional posters giving you time to focus on food.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

We require a passion for delivering fantastic customer service, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach to work.

You will be working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 14:00, with a great work-life balance as this is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year.
