We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at HBD Partners. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to stimulate business into our hotel and contribute to achieving our budgeted group rooms and banqueting revenues.
- Manage the sales process in the Sales department, including developing and helping to manage the Group Sales Coordinator and Executive.
- Proactively engage in face-to-face appointments to drive leads and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Attend key events, tradeshows, and showcases to drive awareness of our property and generate leads.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with local convention bureau and tourist board offices to promote our hotel's offerings.
- Create awareness and develop loyalty through familiarisation trips, site visits, and presentations.
- Build relationships and liaise with Accor Global Sales representatives within your key market to drive business growth.
- Attend Sales missions and Exhibitions as required, in particular in the UK & European markets, and travel as necessary.
- Proven track record of business development and sales growth in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results-driven performance.
