A leading Scottish law firm is seeking a skilled Billing Assistant to join its Finance team in Glasgow on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide financial administrative support to the firm's clients, partners, and staff, performing a variety of tasks including preparation and processing of fee notes, credit control, and client-facing roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial administrative support to the finance team
  • Prepare and process fee notes
  • Perform credit control tasks
  • Assist staff and clients with queries relating to invoices
  • Learn from and support the Feeing supervisor

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in a general or specialized finance role
  • Previous experience in a legal cash room
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail when dealing with payments and invoices
  • Quality numeracy and problem-solving skills
  • Existing experience using IT office, financial systems, and Excel
