XPS Group is a UK-based consulting and administration business that specialises in the pensions and insurance sectors.
We are currently looking for a skilled Pensions Administrator to join our team in Birmingham, with a focus on hybrid working arrangements.
This opportunity is perfect for professionals with experience in administrative or customer service roles, especially those familiar with MS Office software, or recent graduates starting their careers in pensions.

The Role Details
As a Pensions Administrator at XPS Group, your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Managing and updating pension administration databases and systems.
  2. Communicating with government agencies like the DWP and HMRC regarding various queries.
  3. Handling internal and external communication, including phone calls and emails.
  4. Conducting manual benefits calculations.
  5. Processing non-financial tasks, such as updating addresses.
  6. Supporting the team with project-related work, like sending mass communications to scheme members.
  7. Accurately maintaining the time recording system for chargeable and non-chargeable activities, meeting set targets.

Your Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A solid educational foundation, with a minimum of Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
  • Able to meet deadlines and deliver results efficiently.
  • Able to follow procedures, policies, and guidelines while managing large datasets.
  • An enthusiastic, flexible, and positive attitude towards work.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, exceeding client expectations.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £46,000 per year, participation in our annual discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days' annual leave, flexible bank holidays, pension scheme, health care cash plan, flexible benefits program, life assurance coverage, four times basic salary, XPS rewards, employee assistance program, access to a digital GP service, paid volunteer day for participating in company events, and staff referral scheme. Estimated salary range: £41,000 - £51,000 per year.
