About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Reviews Team Leader to join our Homelessness Transformation Programme. As part of this programme, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of 2 Reviews officers, managing a portfolio of review cases, and ensuring that the team provides high-quality and legally compliant processing of all review requests. You will also be responsible for allocating casework to team members and ensuring that all workloads are managed in order to deliver optimum efficiency and meet the team's targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of 2 Reviews officers
  • Manage a portfolio of review cases
  • Ensure that the team provides high-quality and legally compliant processing of all review requests
  • Allocate casework to team members and ensure that all workloads are managed in order to deliver optimum efficiency and meet the team's targets

Requirements

  • Good leadership skills and experience of managing a team in a public sector organization
  • Confident and experienced, with the ability to manage a team working under high demand
  • Good knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, as well as related laws and case law
