Process and Peer Review Coordinator Opportunity

The British Academy, the UK's national body for the humanities and social sciences, is seeking a skilled Process and Peer Review Coordinator to join our Research Funding team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a crucial part in planning and delivering updated processes for application and assessment of research awards, including overseeing the allocation and management of peer reviewers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the identification and maintenance of data on peer reviewers and their expertise
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Research Directorate and in coordination with the Fellowship and Engagement team, the EDI Manager, and the Monitoring & Evaluation Team
  • Establish central resources to enable best practice across the range of programmes
  • Take the lead in establishing clear parameters for ensuring successful delivery in the longer term

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the new Contacts Management System (CRM), the new Finance System, and the outcomes of the Processfix Workshops.
