We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic Qualification to join our Gynaecology and Obstetrics Theatre Team at Northampton General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist anaesthetists in delivering high-quality anaesthetics to patients undergoing surgery in the Day Surgery Unit (DSU).
- Take responsibility for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including restocking and reordering equipment.
- Contribute to the development of a culture that prioritizes innovation and quality improvement through research and audit.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet the needs of patients and their families/carers.
- Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of equipment used in the units and report any faults to the appropriate person.
