About the Role
The successful candidate will assume dual responsibility for leading Rippling's EMEA product treasury function and managing Rippling Payments UK's regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities will include building and maintaining Rippling's banking infrastructure for payment products, managing local banking relationships, and developing scalable FX infrastructure and operationalizing hedging strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial and partner regulatory reporting, oversee subsidiary management, including compliance with corporate filings and international reporting requirements.
- Build banking infrastructure to support Rippling payments products under our regulated entities, including payroll, corporate card, travel, and bill-pay.
- Manage local banking relationships, implementation, negotiations, and escalations.
- Build flexible & scalable FX infrastructure and operationalize FX hedging strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, human resources, security, internal audit, risk, communications, and outside counsel.
As Executive Director of Rippling Payments UK
- Lead and develop the senior management team to deliver key objectives and goals of the firm.
- Ensure strategic alignment between key stakeholders (Group, Board, and Management).
- Manage local payments operations, focusing on product development, sales and marketing, regulatory compliance, and achieving commercial goals.
- Review financial and non-financial reports to manage the health of the entity.
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.
- Facilitate strong regulatory and payment partner relationships.
Requirements
- 8+ years of combined treasury or financial operation experience, including in regulated fintech or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
