About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Administrative Professional to join our team at Amazon Payments UK Limited - H04. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and providing support for regulated financial services entities across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Global Head of Governance with delivering governance services and ensuring the effective implementation of governance policies.
- Manage the lifecycle of Committee meetings, including preparation, execution, and follow-up.
- Develop and enhance governance policies to ensure they are up-to-date and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review existing governance policies to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Coordinate induction and training programs for new employees to ensure they understand our governance policies and procedures.
- Drive initiatives to streamline governance processes and improve overall efficiency.
About the Team:
Our Governance Function is responsible for supporting licensed legal entities across all regions, ensuring high corporate governance standards and effective oversight. We are a dynamic team of governance experts who are passionate about delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact on our organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience in compliance program management, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Experience handling confidential information and maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional auditing qualification, such as ACA or ACCA.
- Experience with SQL and Excel, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in program requirements definition, with a focus on governance and compliance.
