Amazon Payments UK Limited is seeking a seasoned compliance professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to ensuring regulatory adherence within the UK payment landscape.

Reporting directly to the Senior Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of compliance across all payment propositions offered by Amazon Payments UK. This position demands an individual with a deep understanding of financial regulations and a passion for driving customer-centric outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all business operations strictly adhere to applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and actively participate in the development of robust compliance policies for new payment solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain comprehensive policies and procedures, deliver impactful compliance training programs, and foster a culture of regulatory awareness.
  • Prepare insightful reports for internal committees, conduct thorough reviews of risk records, and investigate any potential policy breaches.
  • Work closely with business leaders to effectively respond to inquiries from auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulations within the financial services sector and proactively communicate key developments to relevant teams within Amazon Payments UK.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four years of proven experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Payment Services Regulations 2017 and other relevant FCA regulations.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills, strong organizational abilities, and a demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and possess strong analytical thinking capabilities.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the payments sector or fintech industry.
