Position Overview

The Coordinator of Family and Youth Engagement will be an integral member of the Family Activities Team, dedicated to fostering enjoyable and secure experiences for families through various organized events. This role encompasses the planning and execution of Family Days, Children's Groups, Siblings Groups, and Parent Groups, collectively referred to as Family Activities. Collaboration with volunteers is a key component of this position, ensuring that all activities are successful and fulfilling.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess a background in event planning and group facilitation, particularly with adults and/or youth. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with effective prioritization and time management skills. Integrity and discretion are paramount, as maintaining confidentiality is a critical aspect of this role.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Competence in using technology, particularly MS Office
