Role Overview: The Housing Services Coordinator will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive and inclusive housing solution for residents in specialized living environments, ensuring that the broader community's needs are effectively addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage intricate casework that encompasses a variety of issues such as safeguarding, domestic violence, mental health challenges, support for senior citizens, hoarding situations, property conditions, mediation, conflict resolution, anti-social behavior, substance misuse, and family support.
  • Provide a high standard of service delivery in relation to Later Living schemes and specialized housing, including the provision of emergency support outside of regular hours, tailored to the needs of service teams and individual circumstances.
  • Oversee tenancy management services, assisting residents in adhering to their tenancy agreements, ensuring that support plans are fulfilled, and engaging with residents, stakeholders, and senior management regarding support, tenancy sustainability, and housing management matters.
  • Conduct property management duties to guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring resident safety through regular inspections, necessary repairs, and adherence to current legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of housing legislation and the complexities involved in managing supported housing or accommodations for the elderly.
  • Proven experience in property management, with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance principles.
  • Experience in working within supported, sheltered, or extra care housing environments.
  • Background in a housing association or local government setting.

Contract Details: This position is offered as an initial contract with the potential for extension, structured as PAYE via Umbrella. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with a combination of onsite and remote work arrangements.
