Director, Environmental Planning

LUC is a leading environmental consultancy dedicated to shaping a brighter future for nature, people, and places. We're seeking a Director to join our Edinburgh office and further develop our EIA and wider impact assessment services.

The Opportunity

As a Director, you will lead our specialist EIA teams in delivering high-profile projects, including nationally significant infrastructure projects that facilitate the decarbonisation of the energy system and biodiversity enhancement. You will work across the company, building our portfolio of impact assessment projects in the energy sector and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our EIA teams in delivering high-profile projects
  • Develop and implement our EIA and impact assessment services
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage and develop our team of environmental planners
  • Contribute to the development of our company's strategy and direction
