Job Summary

The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNS Lymph Node Accelerated Pathway Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on CNS lymph node accelerated pathway best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Conducting thorough needs assessments and developing comprehensive plans to address service gaps and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative solutions to complex healthcare challenges.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented strategies and making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent level of experience in a related field.
  • Relevant formal NHS leadership courses or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working in a commissioning or healthcare leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the Trust's vision, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Good understanding of managerial best practices and evidence-based care.
