About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Institutional Credit Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, where you will be responsible for managing credit risk and making informed decisions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with bankers, product partners, and underwriters to develop and implement global export agency finance transactions.
  • Build a deep understanding of Citibank's products and services, including trade, banking, and credit policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including risk and business partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide training and guidance to risk and business partners on export agency finance processes and procedures.
  • Recommend process improvements to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assess risk and make informed decisions to drive business growth, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Citigroup's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Relevant years of experience in a senior-level role, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Preferred experience with export agency finance transactions and credit underwriting.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience in a loan officer or underwriting role.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to read and assess company financial statements, cash flow, industry, and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of intermediate accounting theory and its practical application in the credit underwriting process.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem recognition and resolution skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Proficient in various spreadsheet and word processing applications, including Excel and Word.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
