Job Description

A leading construction company in the Ipswich area is seeking a skilled Marketing Executive to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and offering a competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience. The company offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining the corporate brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Creating and delivering marketing campaigns in line with the company's marketing strategy, measuring their effectiveness and proposing improvements based on outcomes and associated metrics.
  • Planning and executing physical and digital exhibitions and events programmes, showcasing the company's products and services.
  • Managing social media across all B2B platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant channels, creating and scheduling content, and engaging with followers.
  • Scripting and producing printed and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, and website content.
  • Liaising with internal experts to generate accurate industry and thought leadership technical content, highlighting the company's expertise and knowledge.
  • Assisting in the delivery of PR programmes to match the company's marketing focuses, ensuring a consistent message across all channels.
  • Collaborating with creative agencies, designers, suppliers, and providers to maintain the corporate brand within their deliverables, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Working with the marketing team to develop collateral and content for presentations, videos, and other multimedia activities, showcasing the company's products and services.
  • Liaising with the external sales team and product development managers to identify projects and products suitable for external and internal promotion, ensuring alignment with the company's marketing strategy.
  • Inputting, importing, and maintaining client contact data gained from marketing activities within the CRM database (Salesforce), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Requirements for the Marketing Executive position include:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a PR and marketing role, preferably in a B2B setting.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and delivering marketing and PR strategies, with a focus on brand development and customer engagement.
  • Advanced knowledge of platforms and applications such as Photoshop, PowerPoint, and video editing software, with the ability to create high-quality visual content.
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
  • Construction industry experience is desirable, but not essential.
