Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator to join our Wellbeing & Activities Services Team at Runwood Homes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our Associate Director of Wellbeing and Activities to maintain and develop the highest levels of wellbeing and meaningful occupation for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and develop our Wellbeing Leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality wellbeing and activity programs.
  • Develop and deliver wellbeing and activity-related training packages to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Coach and mentor staff to provide excellent support and guidance, promoting a culture of dignity and respect.
  • Provide staff welfare support and guidance to ensure the well-being of our team members.
  • Oversee the provision of high-quality, meaningful activities for all residents, promoting engagement and participation.
  • Develop and implement a whole-team approach to excellent interaction and engagement, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Provide activity and engagement advice and support to staff and families, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance mealtimes, making them a highlight of the day.
  • Share and lead on wellbeing initiatives and projects, driving innovation and excellence within our team.

Requirements

  • Thorough practical knowledge and experience of planning and delivering activities to individuals and groups.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead others, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Excellent IT, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Confidence, determination, and flexibility, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
