Hourly rate - £11.58 per hour
Hours per week – 28, including some weekends and evenings
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Activity and Wellbeing Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on, and delivering, high-quality meaningful activity for all residents
- Ensuring people living with dementia enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other residents
- Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents
- Promoting and developing mealtimes as highlights of the day
- Creating and maintaining excellent community links
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive forward-thinking approach, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and guide others. Experience in a care home setting is an advantage, as is any previous experience of providing activity or leading others.
