When asked 'What does a Chamber of Commerce do?', we respond with 'What you need is what we do – What do you need?' We are the advocate for businesses in Norfolk, and we're searching for our next Customer Experience champion to join our remarkable team.

Over the past five years, Norfolk Chambers has undergone a significant cultural and digital transformation. The last 18 months have focused on transitioning from transformation and change into a five-year plan for growth and innovation. At the heart of our business are our Account Managers – the individuals who make a tangible impact on every business we interact with and drive results.

What You'll Do
  • Exercise high autonomy to develop and support a diverse range of membership accounts within a designated area of the county. This includes onboarding new members, nurturing our relationships with them, and building trust through communication to ensure long-term member retention.
  • Travel throughout the county, meeting new businesses, providing guidance to help them thrive, and connecting them with essential services.
  • Serve as an ambassador for us and our members at events, networking opportunities, and by cultivating a pipeline of potential members.
  • Plan your own demand-led business-focused events and play a key role in delivering our prominent flagship events throughout the year.
What We're Looking For

We seek someone who is eager to unleash their creativity within an organization committed to supporting our exceptional business community. You will possess extensive experience in a similar B2B account management or business development role and be able to leverage that experience to meet the needs of our highly customer-centric, demand-driven organization.

You thrive when given creative control and derive satisfaction from proactively building new relationships. You are proactive, taking initiative and offering solutions when presented with challenges or opportunities. We encourage you to experiment, learn from your experiences, and demonstrate resilience when things don't always go as planned.
