Job Description

About the Role

This is a key leadership position within the Copyright Licensing Agency, responsible for driving the growth and development of our Further Education sector. As the sector lead, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers and stakeholders in this area, working closely with our product and marketing teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and organizations within the Further Education sector, identifying new opportunities for growth and development.
  • Develop and implement effective account management strategies to ensure timely renewal of licenses and engagement with customers.
  • Lead negotiations to secure new agreements and proactively source, develop, and target new licensing opportunities.
  • Work closely with our operations and data team to ensure seamless data flow between clients and our systems.
  • Provide sector expertise and product development input, conducting forums, focus groups, and facilitating sector expert panels to inform product development and business strategy.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Copyright Licensing Agency, championing our licenses and promoting our brand through speaking engagements, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Develop and implement promotional activities to drive brand awareness, support current revenue, and create future opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information and communication is logged and maintained in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to think and perform at a high level in a complex environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and on own initiative.
  • Personable, outgoing, and creative approach, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the education sector, with the ability to speak confidently at conferences and trade shows.
  • Proven account management experience and skills, with the ability to negotiate agreements and support an environment for open dialogue.
  • Good understanding of and capacity to undertake research and analysis, with high-level skills in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
