About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and compassionate individual to join our team as an Advocate Volunteer. As an Advocate Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting people living with dementia in the community, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit people living with dementia in the community to support with advocacy cases
- Establish strong trusting relationships with individuals and their carers
- Ensure people living with dementia can express their views, concerns, and wishes
- Support the Dementia Adviser and Support team in promoting awareness of dementia support services
