About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Thrive Edinburgh service as a Mental Health Support Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide 1:1 peer practice lead support to individuals, utilizing your own lived experience of mental ill health to inspire hope and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 peer practice lead support to individuals, utilizing your own lived experience of mental ill health.
  • Facilitate group work using Decider Skills training.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Support Workers, Social Workers, Nurses, and Occupational Therapists.
  • Contribute to the development of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency response to mental health services.
