How will you contribute to our success?

In this pivotal role, you will enhance and oversee all technical dimensions of the dunhill Menswear Ready-to-Wear (RTW) and soft accessories lines, focusing on risk mitigation within the product range. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that functionality and customer satisfaction are prioritized, while maintaining quality as a fundamental principle across all Menswear RTW and soft accessories offerings within the dunhill portfolio. You will also ensure adherence to Richemont/International standards and key market regulations, while leading the Menswear RTW Quality and Technical team throughout the entire product life cycle.

PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT

Provide technical assistance to Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Suppliers to align with the Menswear business objectives and enhance quality throughout the product life cycle. Collaborate with the Head of Menswear Product Development to establish realistic and achievable critical paths, ensuring key milestones are met. Oversee and coordinate the fitting process from initial prototype to pre-production gold seal, engineering products with a focus on design, development, industrialization, and quality requirements. Conduct seasonal risk assessments during the development of all Menswear RTW and soft accessories, offering risk assessment solutions through testing and due diligence programs to refine product industrialization. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and product sealing to guarantee that products are properly engineered and prepared for production. Supervise suppliers and team members to ensure that products are sealed for production within designated timelines. Facilitate the transition of products to the Menswear field quality inspector to ensure a seamless handover.

PRODUCT QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE

Oversee the product testing program and ensure compliance with care label standards. Uphold the highest quality standards, ensuring consistent fit and production by collaborating closely with relevant teams and suppliers. Maintain quality standards through the publication and distribution of Make standards, Measurements, Labelling, Supplier Manuals, Testing Manual, and Blocks/Grading Manual. Ensure that technical and testing manuals are updated in accordance with CSR/Richemont compliance guidelines. Provide quality and technical expertise to support the product compliance team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate critical paths to ensure that deadlines for technical activities are achievable and agreed upon. Support made-to-measure initiatives concerning product testing and compliance. Collect, summarize, and share data for Supplier Measures/KPI reports, taking action based on results. Promote continuous improvement in Quality and Technical systems. Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and Marketing teams.

HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS WITH US?

Extensive experience and understanding of luxury or premium menswear development processes, with a comprehensive grasp of the entire product lifecycle. In-depth knowledge of menswear formal and casual categories, including wovens, knits, jersey, and leather. Familiarity with product construction and pattern-making, along with a hands-on approach to fitting. Understanding of quality AQL criteria and inspection protocols. Proven experience in team management and/or overseeing cross-functional projects. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload. Capability to navigate and manage change effectively. Creative problem-solving skills with an explorative mindset. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple teams and markets.
