About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in collecting and analyzing data related to patient experience, including feedback, concerns, and complaints.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable data systems and reporting structures to inform current numbers, themes, and trends.
  • Support the development and management of an overall PALS and Complaints reporting program, ensuring accuracy and tracking progress.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the coordination of work streams, identifying interdependencies, risks, and issues, and resolving problems to enable projects to progress.
  • Present sensitive and complex information to subcommittees and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including divisional meetings and reports for the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman, to share information and collaborate on initiatives.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Education to Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of further professional development in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Demonstrable experience of data analysis and report writing.
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary staff across a diverse professional organization.
  • Experience of working with QSIS and Datix to produce data-driven reports.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex information to the recipient's level of understanding.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working in the NHS.
  • Previous experience of patient experience services.

Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of statistical and data analytical techniques.
  • Knowledge of computer-based report writing and data analysis of complex and/or sensitive data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Awareness of NHS targets and Trust priorities.
  • Awareness of anti-discriminatory issues.

Skills:

Essential:

  • Ability to prepare and present reports to detailed specifications for local, divisional, Trust Board, and others as requested.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to respond to unpredictable work patterns and meet deadlines, while managing own workload time effectively.
