Service Integration: This position is essential in supporting patients, their families, and clinical teams.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess doctorate-level training in clinical neuropsychology and be registered as a Specialist Clinical Neuropsychologist. They should have extensive expertise in pediatric neuropsychological assessments and therapeutic methods with a solid evidence base for treating children with neurological disorders, alongside experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in applying psychological therapies within a family context.
  • Significant experience as a qualified neuropsychologist in pediatric settings.
  • Extensive experience as a senior clinical psychologist in pediatric services.
  • Experience in applying psychology across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Experience in developing and leading psychological services.

Educational Background:

  • Post-graduate doctoral training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) accredited by the BPS.
  • Training in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments.
  • Formal training in supervising other psychologists.
  • Postdoctoral training in therapeutic approaches applicable to neurological patients.
  • Qualification in neurodevelopmental assessments for autism.
