Service Integration: This position is crucial for supporting patients, their families, and clinical teams, ensuring comprehensive care and effective communication.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess doctorate-level training in clinical neuropsychology and be registered as a Specialist Clinical Neuropsychologist. A deep understanding of pediatric neuropsychological assessments and therapeutic methods, backed by strong evidence for treating children with neurological disorders, is essential. Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams is also required.
Departmental Commitment: The department offers both inpatient and outpatient pediatric services, as well as adult neuropsychology support in various rehabilitation settings for individuals with acquired neurological conditions. We prioritize clinical supervision, ongoing professional development, and career advancement.
Additional Expertise: Experience in applying psychological therapies within family dynamics, substantial experience as a qualified neuropsychologist in pediatric settings, and proficiency in diverse cultural contexts are highly valued. Candidates should also have formal training in supervising other psychologists and postdoctoral training in therapeutic approaches relevant to neurological patients.
Specialized Training: Qualifications in neurodevelopmental assessments for autism are advantageous.
