We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Service at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of children and young people with complex health conditions, and to contribute to the development of our service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to children and young people with neurological conditions and inherited metabolic diseases.
- Contribute to the development of our service, including the design and delivery of psychological interventions and the development of new services and programs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to our patients.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our service through audit, research, teaching, and training.
- Doctoral level training as a Clinical Neuropsychologist, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) / Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with children and young people with complex health conditions.
- Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Training in British Sign Language (BSL).
- Experience of working with children and young people with neurological conditions and inherited metabolic diseases.
- Experience of providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups.
- Experience of assessing individuals pre- and post-surgery.
