Practice Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Medicus Health Partners. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality primary healthcare services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the management of our practice, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve practice performance, including quality and outcomes frameworks, enhanced services, and locally commissioned services.
- Collaborate with clinical partners, managing partners, and senior management to set strategic planning targets and achieve them.
- Manage and coordinate the recruitment, induction, and training of new administrative staff.
- Oversee the daily management of the practice, ensuring adequate and well-planned staff rotas to meet the practice's needs.
- Monitor and check the accuracy of Enhanced Services, Contractual Requirements, and other PMS claims, and ensure that all claims are submitted on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Utilize clinical software to perform searches, extracting and validating patient and statistical data for the preparation of reports.
- Prepare for, organize, and attend practice, wider health team, and management meetings, and follow up on decisions made.
- 3 A Levels and ability to demonstrate an interest in healthcare.
- Accounting and Finance Qualification.
- Experience of organizing meetings, training staff, and knowledge of primary healthcare.
- Previous management role and knowledge of QOF.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Able to set up/manage effective document management systems.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience of preparing and presenting information to a team.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize workload.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
