Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design of high-speed Analog and Mixed Signal ICs for the optical communications market at IC Resources.

As a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer, you will be a leading member of the design team, responsible for the design and layout of high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs and taking a technical lead role on significant chip developments.

You will work effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, applications, product/test engineering) and contribute to the technical direction and policies for the wider design team.

The Principal Engineer is an authority in their field and is expected to support, motivate, and advise more junior engineers.

You will be able to prioritize and work across multiple projects in parallel to ensure key milestones are met.

Key Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience in Analog IC design
  • Good BSc or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Deep and intuitive understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practice
  • RF (1GHz +) analogue circuit design experience
  • Has led a large project team and provided technical direction to the design team
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification (MSc / PhD)
  • 25GHz + circuit design experience
  • Project leadership experience
