Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design of high-speed Analog and Mixed Signal ICs for the optical communications market with IC Resources.

As a leading member of the design team, you will be responsible for the design and layout of high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs and taking a technical lead role on significant chip developments.

The Principal Analogue Design Engineer is a key member of the design team, working effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, applications, product/test engineering) to contribute to the technical direction and policies for the wider design team.

You will be an authority in your field, supporting, motivating, and advising more junior engineers. Your ability to prioritize and work across multiple projects in parallel will ensure key milestones are met.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience in Analog IC design
  • Good BSc or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Deep and intuitive understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practice
  • RF (1GHz +) analogue circuit design experience
  • Leadership experience, including project leadership and technical direction
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification (MSc / PhD)
  • 25GHz + circuit design experience
