Principal Analog IC Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join IC Resources and contribute to the design of high-speed Analog and Mixed Signal ICs for the optical communications market.

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to lead our design team in Bristol, South West, England. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and laying out high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs and providing technical direction on significant chip developments.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practices and RF (1GHz +) analogue circuit design experience. They will also have a strong track record of leading large project teams and providing technical direction to design teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and laying out high-performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs
  • Providing technical direction on significant chip developments
  • Leading large project teams and providing technical direction to design teams
  • Contributing to the technical direction and policies for the wider design team

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience in Analog IC design
  • Good BSc or equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Deep understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practices
  • RF (1GHz +) analogue circuit design experience
  • Relevant post-graduate qualification (MSc / PhD)
