Job Description
We are seeking a senior protein engineer and biocatalysis scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing new enzyme processes and cell-free manufacturing techniques to replace petrochemical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new protein-based solutions for sustainable feedstocks
- Apply directed evolution techniques, including bioinformatics, high-throughput screening, protein design, and cloning & expression techniques
- Characterize and optimize enzyme performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes into our manufacturing pipeline
Requirements
- Strong experience in directed evolution techniques, including bioinformatics, high-throughput screening, protein design, and cloning & expression techniques
- Proven track record of developing innovative protein-based solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
