We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Protein Engineer and Biocatalysis Scientist to join our team at Scindo. As a key member of our enzyme development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing enzyme processes for sustainable feedstocks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement directed evolution techniques, including bioinformatics, high-throughput screening, protein design, and cloning & expression techniques.
- Design and optimize protein expression, protein purification, and enzyme characterization protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enzyme processes into our cell-free manufacturing platform.
- Contribute to the development of new enzyme-based products and processes that meet our sustainability goals.
- Ph.D. in Protein Engineering, Biocatalysis, or a related field.
- Strong experience in directed evolution techniques, including bioinformatics, high-throughput screening, protein design, and cloning & expression techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
