About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury and MI Analyst to join our team at Vanilla Recruitment (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our Treasury and MI Manager in the production of regular management and statutory information.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting or treasury, with experience working with ALMIS software or other banking regulatory reporting and accounting software. You will be responsible for collating and analysing information required to complete and submit relevant regulatory returns, preparing regulatory returns relating to liquidity and treasury exposures, and reviewing returns generated by the Treasury and MI Analyst and assisting with queries.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including the Financial Controller, Treasury & MI Manager, and Treasury and MI Implementation Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and analyse information required to complete and submit relevant regulatory returns
  • Prepare regulatory returns relating to liquidity and treasury exposures
  • Review returns generated by the Treasury and MI Analyst and assist with queries
  • Support the Financial Controller, Treasury & MI Manager, and Treasury and MI Implementation Manager and provide cover as and when required
Requirements
  • Accounting or treasury qualifications (part-qualified)
  • Working knowledge of ALMIS software or understanding of other banking regulatory reporting and accounting software
  • Advanced Excel – data manipulation
  • Experience of working within a banking / financial environment
