Senior Treasury & MI Analyst Job Description

Vanilla Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury & MI Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the Finance / Treasury team, you will be responsible for assisting the Treasury and MI Manager in the production of regular management and statutory information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and analyse information required to complete and submit relevant regulatory returns
  • Prepare regulatory returns relating to liquidity and treasury exposures
  • Review returns generated by the Treasury and MI Analyst and assist with queries
  • Prepare information for monthly ALCO pack as required
  • Support the Financial Controller, Treasury & MI Manager and Treasury and MI Implementation Manager and provide cover as and when required
  • Assist with making changes to current processes to meet the new requirements in the move to Extended Approach
  • Identify improvements in processes and drive forward change

Requirements:

  • Accounting or treasury qualifications (part-qualified)
  • Working knowledge of ALMIS software or understanding of other banking regulatory reporting and accounting software
  • Advanced Excel – data manipulation
  • Experience of working within a banking / financial environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills

What We Offer:

  • £45,000 – £50,000 salary
  • Hybrid working - 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office
  • 25 days annual holiday + 8 bank holidays and birthday off
