Stonegate Farmers Ltd is looking for a Poultry Production Coordinator to enhance our growing Agricultural Division.

In this role, you will report directly to the Agriculture Divisional Director and will be tasked with the management and coordination of our poultry production operations, ensuring that flock rotations are consistently aligned with operational requirements.

Stonegate Farmers Ltd operates as a comprehensive free-range and organic egg enterprise, structured into three main divisions: farming and agriculture, egg packing, and cooked egg processing.

Founded in 1926 and under new management since 2016, we have expanded to become one of the leading producers of free-range and organic eggs in the UK.

Our operations involve the careful handling of delicate food products, and we collaborate closely with our producers to collect, grade, and package each egg.

We ensure timely deliveries from farms across the nation to high-end restaurants and many of the UK's top supermarkets, as well as providing premium egg products to major food manufacturers.

To manage the high volume of fresh eggs, we prioritize innovative thinking and seek to employ passionate individuals who embody our values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to poultry production teams and personnel.
  • Utilize specialized software for maintaining accurate records.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all inquiries related to poultry production.
  • Facilitate daily communication between our central office and agricultural teams, ensuring accurate rearing forecasts are shared.
  • Oversee and manage poultry production schedules to optimize egg yield.
  • Ensure that forecast data is accurately communicated to all relevant stakeholders, collaborating to align needs with availability.
  • Identify any contract rearing needs and coordinate with pre-approved rearers.
  • Manage all specialty chick orders and communicate updates to hatchery and farm managers as necessary.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost analyses, ensuring that financial data is organized and accessible.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
