Are you dedicated to creating positive change? This is a remarkable opportunity within the Primary Care Recovery Service (PCRS) in Lewisham, which serves as one of the two primary treatment providers in the borough.

PCRS operates from Forest Hill.

About Humankind: We are a well-established organization specializing in substance misuse, health services, youth and family support, employment training, education, and housing assistance. This is an exciting period for Humankind as we expand our reputation and deliver essential services nationwide.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will become part of a skilled team of Recovery Coordinators and Aftercare group work facilitators, tasked with supporting adults facing various substance misuse challenges, including alcohol dependency. You will provide assistance through diverse group work interventions, promote peer support, and engage in various activities aimed at fostering recovery.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a variety of group work interventions and activities.
  • Effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Assist service users in making informed decisions about their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Help service users access resources and services to enhance their recovery capital and achieve their recovery objectives.

Additional Information: Please be aware that due to the nature of this position, some out-of-hours work may be necessary.
