Property Sales Trainee Consultant

  • We are currently seeking Trainees eager to embark on a career in the Property Sales sector. A strong background in sales, such as automotive sales, telecommunications sales, or membership sales, is essential. A valid driving license and personal vehicle are required.
  • The position offers an initial guaranteed salary ranging from £22,000 to £25,000 for the first six months (pro-rata, contingent on individual qualifications). Following this period, a basic salary of up to £16,000 will be provided, with realistic on-target earnings of £30,000 in the first year, increasing in the second year, along with a petrol allowance of 40p per mile for business travel.
  • The commission structure is exceptional, featuring a 5% commission on personal sales and an additional 2.5% for securing the Property Market Appraisal (PMA). By successfully booking the PMA and facilitating the sale, you can earn a total of 7.5% commission.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured interviews with applicants to identify their needs and potential business opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with qualified applicants, providing updates on suitable properties and scheduling viewings.
  • Negotiate effectively with prospective buyers, prioritizing the interests of our clients.
  • Manage transactions to ensure the highest standards of customer service for both buyers and sellers, facilitating smooth processes and securing future referrals.
  • Collaborate within a team environment, offering support to colleagues and the Branch Manager.
  • Introduce clients and applicants to our Mortgage Consultant.
  • Adhere to the service standards established by the company.
  • Meet sales targets as agreed upon with the Branch Manager.
  • Familiarize yourself with all relevant systems, procedures, and regulations, projecting a professional image to clients and colleagues.
Experience / Qualifications:

  • A solid background in sales is required.

The initial guaranteed salary of £22,000 to £25,000 (pro-rata, based on individual qualifications) will be followed by a basic salary of up to £16,000, with realistic on-target earnings of £30,000 in the first year and increasing in the second year, plus a petrol allowance of 40p per mile for business travel.
