Position Overview

As a key member of the Clinical Quality and Patient Safety team, the Clinical Quality and Safety Advisor plays a vital role in supporting our various healthcare facilities in all aspects of quality management and patient safety.

This position involves overseeing a designated group of healthcare sites, ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained across the board.

The role is primarily remote, with necessary travel to clinical locations and corporate offices as required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with the healthcare facilities in their assigned group, providing expert guidance and support in multiple areas to enhance the safe delivery of care within New Medical Systems Ltd. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting site teams in developing and implementing action plans for service enhancements.
  • Promoting a collaborative approach to share insights and lessons learned across the group.
  • Generating governance and compliance reports, analyzing data from various information systems, and communicating risks or concerns to senior management.
  • Ensuring adherence to policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements, including conducting reviews of policies and guidelines as necessary.
  • Coordinating investigations into patient safety incidents and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulatory standards.

This role offers a balanced mix of practical on-site support and the opportunity to leverage your expertise to drive quality improvements and enhance safety protocols.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in a governance-related role or a clinical background with professional registration, such as a Registered Nurse, midwife, or optometrist.
  • Familiarity with CQC fundamental standards and experience in conducting quality inspections is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to implementing change and driving improvements within the organization.
