Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Advisor to join our team at Bancroft School. As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project teams in clinical research studies, working closely with our physicians to provide clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Disease-Specific Education: Create and deliver educational programs for internal teams on haematology and oncology diseases.
  • Review Clinical Safety Data: Analyze study and participant clinical safety data, including laboratory results, medications, and medical history, as part of the study's medical monitoring team.
  • Review Protocols for Scientific and Participant Safety: Evaluate assigned protocols for scientific and participant safety matters and risks.
  • Attend Pre-Study and Study-Related Meetings: Participate in pre-study and study-related meetings with project teams, providing clinical expertise.
  • Assist with Study Participant Recruitment: Support the Clinical Operations team with activities related to study participant recruitment, screening, and study conduct.
  • Provide Clinical Input in Business Presentations: Serve as a clinical expert in business presentations to new clients, providing input on clinical research proposals.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Nursing: A postgraduate degree in nursing is required.
  • Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration: Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and a valid NMC pin number are essential.
  • Significant Experience in Haematology/Oncology: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an advanced nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist in haematology or oncology is required.
  • Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is necessary.
  • Clinical Research Experience: Experience in clinical research is preferred.
  • Evidence of Autonomous Clinical or Research Work: Evidence of autonomous clinical or research work at a senior level is required.
