About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Care and Supported Housing Manager to join our team at Hightown Housing Association. As a key member of our middle management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our services in Dacorum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014 and relevant regulatory frameworks, maintaining adherence to National Standards for semi-independent provision.
  • Support Services: Deliver high-quality, person-centered care and support services, championing positive risk-taking cultures and promoting independence.
  • Service Development: Drive the development of new services and transformation initiatives, fostering key relationships with commissioners and regulatory bodies.
  • Staff Matters: Lead recruitment, induction, and development of staff members, promoting a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
  • Management: Develop annual plans, uphold organizational policies and procedures, conduct audits, and implement quality improvement measures.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate excellent leadership and change management skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Premises and Finance: Oversee maintenance, health, and safety concerns, manage service finances, and procurement processes.
  • Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records and produce clear reports, ensuring compliance with organizational key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Experience in care and supported housing management
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance
  • Ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement measures
