Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and team management? We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Martin-Brower Co.

Job Summary:

To support, assist and deputise for the Shift Operations Managers in the running of key areas within the warehouse operation, taking responsibility for the operational running of an area on a shift basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Co-ordinate and motivate the team to achieve daily output objectives and deliver shift KPIs.
  2. Ensure warehouse is operating to QA standards and AIB/DQMP standards for hygiene and tidiness.
  3. Prepare and attend daily 9am operation meeting when covering Shift Operations Managers duties.
  4. Challenge in consultation with Shift Operations Managers any employee not achieving company standards.
  5. Ensure that the team are trained and competent to carry out tasks assigned to them and develop a multi-skilled workforce.
  6. Proactively seek solutions to operational problems and resolve queries as they come about, escalating to shift Senior Warehouse Manager, Assistant Operations Manager (Warehouse) and Operations Manager queries that cannot be resolved.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience of a leadership role in a similar FMCG operation (Desirable)
  2. Effective people management skills (Essential)
  3. Experience of WM systems – intermediate (Desirable)
  4. Effective performance management skills (Desirable)
