About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our nursing team as a Healthcare Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing general social interaction with patients, including talking, observing, and escalating concerns. You will also support patients with meals, including preparation and service, and assist with personal care. Additionally, you will support the wider team with domestic and housekeeping duties, meet and greet patients, and put away stock. You will also carry out and support with other duties as required by trained and experienced staff.
Requirements
- GCSE Maths & English, or Equivalent
- NVQ 2 in Health Care, or Equivalent
- Clinical skills eg venepuncture, blood transfusion, aseptic non touch technique
